Getting Started
Attaching the Camera Strap
To reduce the risk of dropping the camera, it is strongly recommended to attach and use the provided camera strap.Inserting the Batteries
1. Power off the camera before installing or removing batteries. 2. Open the battery/memory card compartment. 3. Insert batteries with correct orientation. 4. Close and secure the compartment.Inserting an SD/SDHC Memory Card

| The lens is extended and will NOT retract. | Do not force the lens to go back. The type of the battery used may be incorrect or the battery power level is too low. Change the battery or charge the battery before using the camera. |
