Getting Started

Inserting the Battery

Follow these instructions to insert the AA batteries into the battery compartment. If batteries are already installed, make sure to power off camera before inserting new batteries.

1. Make sure the power is off before inserting the batteries.
2. Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the camera.
3. Insert the batteries into the compartment with the terminal facing inside the camera and the batteries indent next to the compartment door.
4. Close the battery compartment.

-Front View

Labels for Flash, Self-Timer LED / AF Assist Lamp, Zoom Lens, Microphone.

-Back View

Labels for LCD screen, Zoom buttons, Play button, Operation Lamp, OK button / 4-way navigation control, Quick Functions, Menu button.

Modes

-Shooting mode

Set to Shooting mode to capture images and record videos and audio clips.

-Playback mode

Set your camera to Playback mode so you can view and edit captured images as well as playback videos and audio clips.

-Switching between Shooting mode and Playback Mode

In Shooting mode, press the Play button to switch to Playback mode. In Playback mode, press the Play button to switch back to Shooting mode.
