Getting Ready
Unpack your camera and ensure all items are present: AA-size Alkaline Batteries, CD-ROM, Wrist Strap, Warranty Card, USB Cable.
Camera Views
Familiarize yourself with the camera's front, back, left/right, and top/bottom views, identifying key components like the Flash Lamp, LCD Screen, Shutter Button, and Battery Compartment.
Basic Operations
- Insert Battery and SD/SDHC Card: Open the battery compartment, insert batteries and an SD/SDHC card correctly, then close the compartment.
- Set Date/Time and Language: Navigate to the Language option using Up/Down buttons, select your preferred language, and confirm. Then, navigate to Date/Time, highlight fields with Left/Right, adjust values with Up/Down, and confirm.
- Turning On and Off: Press the Power button to turn the camera on or off.
- Using the Mode Button: Press the 'mode' button to access different shooting modes (Auto, Manual, Panorama, Portrait, ASCN, Scene, Movie). Use Left/Right buttons to select and 'func ok' to confirm.
- Using Menu Button: Press the 'menu' button to access camera settings. Navigate through options using Left/Right and Down buttons, and confirm with 'func ok'.
- Taking a Picture: Hold the camera securely. Use the Zoom toggle (T for zoom in, W for zoom out). Lightly press the shutter button to focus, then press fully to capture the image.
- Viewing Your Picture: Press the Playback button to enter playback mode. Use Left/Right buttons to browse photos.
- Using the Delete Button: In Playback mode, press the Down/Delete button. Select the picture/video, choose 'Yes' to delete, and confirm with 'func ok'.
