HP warrants the product against defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the purchase date.
Step 1: Insert Battery
Unlock and open the battery/memory card compartment. Insert the battery with the terminal facing inward. Close and lock the compartment.
Step 2: Insert Memory Card
Unlock and open the battery/memory card compartment. Insert the SD/SDHC/SDXC card with the metal part facing the back of the camera. Push the card until it clicks into place. Close and lock the compartment.
Step 3: Set Language/Date/Time
Turn on the camera. Use the 4-way navigation to change settings. Press OK to finish.
Step 4: Taking Pictures
Turn on the camera. Compose your image on the LCD. Rotate the zoom lever to adjust the angle of view. Press the shutter button halfway to focus and adjust exposure. Press fully to capture.
Step 5: Recording Movies
Press the movie button to start recording. Focus on the subject. Use the zoom lever to zoom in/out. Press the arrow key to pause and press again to resume. Press the movie button to stop.
Step 6: Viewing Images
Press the playback button. Use the arrow keys to view images/videos. Press OK to play video/audio clips.
Step 7: Using the Setup Menu
Press the MENU button. Use the arrow keys to change menus and selections. Press OK to save settings.
