Getting Started:

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
My image is blurry.
  • Use a tripod or improve lighting.
  • Ensure subject is within focus range (at least 1m).
  • Select appropriate shooting mode.
  • Set flash to Auto or On, and shooting mode to Action.
My image is too bright.
  • Turn off the flash.
  • Move back from the subject and use zoom.
My image is too dark.
  • Improve lighting, use flash, or add indirect lighting.
  • If subject is outside flash range, turn off flash. Use tripod or steady camera for longer exposure.
My image is grainy.
  • Add indirect lighting, use flash, or wait for better lighting.
  • Avoid excessive digital zoom.
  • Avoid storing camera in hot locations.
Images are missing on my camera. Remove memory card and check internal memory. Move images to memory card if necessary.
I have two memory cards that are the same size, but one stores many more pictures than the other.
