Getting Started: Familiarize yourself with camera controls, set up the camera, and begin taking pictures.
Taking Pictures & Videos: Use Live View to frame shots, take still pictures by pressing the shutter halfway to focus and fully to capture, or record video clips by pressing the Video button. Explore different shooting modes like Auto, Portrait, and Landscape for optimal results.
Reviewing: Access Playback mode to review images and video clips, delete unwanted files, view thumbnails, and magnify images.
Enhancing Images: Use the Design Gallery Menu to remove red eyes, modify colors, add borders, or record audio clips.
Transferring & Printing: Transfer images to a computer using HP software or directly. Print images from the camera or use the Buy Prints Online feature.

| The camera gets warm (or even hot) to the touch. | This is normal. However, if anything seems out of the ordinary, turn off the camera, remove it from AC power, and allow the camera to cool. Then examine the camera and the batteries for signs of possible damage. For best image quality, turn off the camera when not using. Always store the camera in a cool place. |
| My camera stalls when establishing a connection to the computer. |

| I cannot transfer images from the camera to my computer. |

| I get an error message when transferring images to my computer. | Close the HP Photosmart Transfer Software, remove the camera from the optional dock or disconnect the camera from the USB cable and reset the camera (see Resetting the camera on page 32).
