This manual provides setup, operation, and troubleshooting for the HP Photosmart M425/M525 Digital Camera.
Getting Started: Install batteries, charge them, and turn on the camera. Choose language and region settings. Install optional memory card and software.
Taking Pictures: Frame your subject using the Image Display, press the shutter button halfway to focus, then fully to take the picture. Use zoom for closer shots.
Recording Video: Frame your subject, press the Video button to start, and press it again to stop.
Reviewing Images: Use the playback controls to view images and video clips. Delete or magnify images as needed.
Enhancing Images: Use the Design Gallery Menu to remove red-eye, modify colors, add borders, or record audio.

| Video recording terminates abruptly. | Replace memory card with a faster card. |
| Video recording terminates abruptly and will not play back. | Reformat the card. |
| Camera gets warm (or hot) to the touch. | This is normal. Turn off, remove from power, and allow to cool. Examine for damage. |
