Getting Started:

  1. Install and charge the battery.
  2. Turn on the camera.
  3. Set language, region, date, and time.
  4. Install and format memory card (optional).
  5. Install software.

Taking Pictures:

  1. Select Picture Capture mode.
  2. Frame subject and press Shutter halfway to focus.
  3. Press Shutter fully to take picture.

Recording Videos:

  1. Select Video Record mode.
  2. Frame subject and press Shutter halfway to focus.
  3. Press Shutter fully to start recording. Press again to stop.

Reviewing Images:

  1. Use Playback mode.
  2. Use navigation buttons to view images.
  3. Delete images as needed.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
Memory card issues Format card. Ensure card is compatible (32MB-4GB SD). Replace if defective.
Camera unresponsive Slide Image Display, press a button, or reset camera.
Sluggish image review Check storage and memory capacity.
Video recording terminates abruptly Use lower video quality setting or faster memory card.
Video won't play back Transfer video to PC, reformat card.
Camera gets warm Normal operation. Turn off if excessive.
