Getting Started
Familiarize yourself with the camera's controls, set it up, and start taking pictures.
Camera Anatomy:
- Top, Side, and Back: Speaker, ON/OFF button, Power light, Mode selector (Picture Capture, Video Record, Playback), Shutter button, Zoom lever, USB connector, Battery Charging light, Touch Screen interface buttons, Stylus, Touch Screen Image Display.
- Front and Bottom: Flash, Self-Timer/Focus Assist light, Microphone, Battery/Memory Card door, Tripod mount.
Before Taking Pictures:
- Install and charge the battery.
- Turn on the camera.
- Choose language and set region.
- Set the date and time.
- Install and format a memory card (optional).
- Install the software on your computer.
Using the Camera:
