Getting to Know Your Camera

Identify front and rear views of the camera, including buttons like the shutter, flash, ON/OFF, and zoom controls. Learn about the rear controls: LCD screen, status LED, USB/AV terminal, strap eyelet, speaker, tripod socket, battery/memory card cover, and navigation control.

Getting Started

Preparation: Attach the camera strap, open the battery/memory card cover, insert the battery and an optional memory card, then close the cover securely.

Charging the Battery: The battery is not fully charged at purchase. Fully charge it before first use. Connect the camera to a USB-AC adapter, then plug into a wall outlet. Monitor the Status LED for charging status.

Capturing Photos

Turn on the camera, set the mode to [], compose your shot using the LCD monitor (use zoom buttons as needed), and press the shutter button halfway to focus, then fully to capture.

Playing Back Photos

Press the playback button to view photos. Use the navigation controls to go forward/backward, zoom in/out.

Recording Video Clips

Set the camera to video mode [], compose your shot, and press the shutter button to start recording. Press again to stop.

Playing Back Video Clips

Press the playback button, select a video clip using navigation controls, and press SET to play. Use navigation to fast forward/rewind, pause, or stop playback.

Erasing Photos and Videos

Press the playback button, select the photo/video to delete, press MENU, select Delete, choose [Single] or [All], select [Execute], and confirm.

Transferring Files to Your Computer

Connect the camera via USB, select [PC], locate the camera as a removable disk, find the DCIM folder, and copy/paste or drag-and-drop files.
