  • Ensure at least 1.5-2 MB of free memory space.

Cannot use certain call functions

Factors that degrade GPS signal
  • Indoors, underwater, or underground.

Cannot synchronize iPAQ with computer
  • Ensure latest synchronization software is installed on PC.
  • Ensure PC is set up to allow USB connections.
WMDC not launching after installation
  • Disconnect and reconnect the iPAQ.
Cannot set up initial Bluetooth connection
  • Initial connection requires a USB sync cable. Bluetooth can be set up after initial connection.
iPAQ slow sometimes
  • Ensure at least 1.5-2 MB of free memory space.
  • Close unnecessary background applications using Task Manager.
iPAQ becomes very hot
  • Some functions (long calls, internet sharing, GPS) can cause warming.
  • It's normal to warm up slightly during charging.
  • Certain environments may increase heat.
How to reset iPAQ
  • Reset: Stops programs, no data loss. Remove and re-insert battery.
  • Factory Restore: Clears all user data. Save data first. Press Start > Settings > System > Factory Restore.
