  • ActiveSync Installation: Use the HP iPAQ Setup Wizard from the Companion CD to install Microsoft ActiveSync for communication between your HP iPAQ and personal computer.
  • ActiveSync Partnership: Create a one-time partnership to synchronize data like email and contacts. Choose between standard or guest partnerships.
  • Synchronization: Synchronize your HP iPAQ with your PC using the cradle, autosync cable, or Bluetooth. Ensure ActiveSync is installed.
  • Resets: Perform a soft reset to stop applications without losing data, or a hard reset to clear all settings and programs (except those in iPAQ File Store).
  • System Monitoring: Use the Today Panel to view system resources like battery power, memory, and backlight.
  • Data Migration: Migrate data from Palm Desktop software to Windows Mobile 2003 by first transferring data to Microsoft Outlook, then using ActiveSync.
