Basic Operation

  • Adjusting the Volume: Press the (+) or (–) VOL buttons on the remote control to increase or decrease the volume. The indicator bar on the display shows the increase or decrease.
  • Muting the Sound: Press the MUTE button to temporarily turn off the sound. Press the MUTE button again to restore the sound back to the previous level.
  • Turning On and Off the LCD TV: To turn on the display, press the PWR button on the remote control. The Power LED on the display turns blue. To turn off the display, press the PWR button on the remote control. The Power LED on the display turns red.
  • First Time Setup for Channels: Select the TV receiving mode to Air or Cable. Use the Channel Search feature to set up your channels. The Channel Search scans channels 1 to 125 and adds channels that return a signal. Follow the on-screen prompts to run the Channel Search.
  • Changing Channels: Press the (+) or (–) CH buttons on the remote control to change the channel up or down. You can enter a one-, two-, or three-digit channel number directly.

Setup

Connect your external devices (composite, S-video, DVI-D, VGA, subwoofer, headphones, antenna, cable box, or satellite dish) to the appropriate rear connectors. Ensure audio cables are connected to the corresponding video inputs. Power the TV by connecting the provided AC power cord to a grounded outlet.
