This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 1 year parts and labor.

Connecting Speakers: Follow diagrams to connect front, center, surround, and subwoofer speakers using color-coded wires. Ensure proper connection without shorting or reversing polarity.

Subwoofer Setup: Connect subwoofer with audio cable. Turn power ON. Use Auto Power On/Off. Set Crossover Filter to Off. Initially set volume knob to 11 o'clock.

Speaker Balancing: Use the receiver's remote (SETUP button) to manually adjust individual speaker volumes for optimal sound balance.

Speaker Distance: Measure distance from listening position to each speaker. Input these distances into the receiver via the SETUP menu for proper sound timing.

DVD Player Connection: Connect DVD player to receiver using coaxial digital, audio, or S-Video cables. Program the receiver's remote to control the DVD player.

The picture does not look good or the picture/sound quality is poor.A nearby device is generating noise.Separate this unit as far as possible from the device you think is generating the noise.
The disc is dirty.Refer to the "Disc handling precautions" section and wipe dirt from the disc.
It takes a while for the disc to start playing.The disc is damaged.Use a new disc.
There is condensation on the optical lens.Refer to the "Caution on condensation" section and evaporate the condensation.
The tray opens automatically.The disc is not placed horizontally.Properly place the disc on the tray.
The top and bottom of the screen cannot be seen.The video format of the disc being played does not match that of the connected TV monitor.Refer to the "Video formats" section, and use a disc with the appropriate video format for your TV or a TV with the appropriate video format for the disc.
The subtitle is not displayed.The DVD disc being played does not contain the recording of subtitles.The subtitle cannot be displayed when the DVD disc being played does not contain the recording of subtitles.
The subtitle mode is set to off.Press the SUBTITLE ON/OFF key to switch on the subtitle mode.
