Warranty Information
Warranty covers 24 months from the date of product shipment from Huawei.
Device Installation:
Choose an appropriate location, height, and angle for accurate traffic surveillance and license plate recognition. Follow specific requirements for camera installation found on the Huawei support website. Utilize the SiMS tool for site planning and management. Ensure roads are straight and clear of junctions within 50 meters for optimal snapshot taking. Avoid traffic lights within 200 meters. Install cameras at a height of 6±0.5m with a recommended distance of 23-25m from the detection area. Ensure the detection and recognition area is longer than 15m.
Cable Connection:
Connect cables ensuring proper insulation and grounding, especially in lightning-prone areas. Keep strong and weak current cables separated. Tear off the sunshield tape and open the shield. Connect cables to PG connectors, ensuring to route them through the nut and bushing isolator. Insert SD card (Class 10 or higher) when the device is powered off. Connect the network cable and SFP optical module. Connect the power cable, ensuring it is properly secured.
Installation Verification:
Check that all screws are tight, the camera is securely mounted, and ambient temperature meets specifications. Ensure cables are insulated and waterproofed with correct drip loops. Ground the camera if required. Remove protective films and ensure the camera powers on. Access the web client via IP address, view live video, and confirm clear images, especially for license plate recognition.
