Power On/Off

Press the power button to turn the system on. The STANDBY lamp will turn off. To turn off, press the power button again; the STANDBY lamp will light red.

Source Selection

Press source buttons (DVD/CD, USB MEMORY, TAPE A, TAPE B, FM/AM/AUX) to select the desired source. Playback may start automatically.

Volume Adjustment

Use the VOLUME +/- buttons on the remote or the main unit to adjust the sound level.

Listening to Radio

Select FM or AM/AUX. Use tuning buttons to find stations. Use preset buttons to store and recall stations.

Disc/File Playback

Insert a disc or connect a USB device. Use playback controls (play, pause, stop, skip) to navigate content.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Adjustments or settings are suddenly canceled Time limit Repeat procedure again.
Operations are disabled Microprocessor malfunction due to external interference Unplug and replug the AC power cord.
Unable to operate from remote control Obstruction between remote and sensor; Batteries exhausted Remove obstruction; Replace batteries.
No sound is heard Speaker connections incorrect/loose; Headphones connected Check speaker connections; Disconnect headphones.
No picture appears on screen Video cord connections incorrect/loose Check video cord connections.
Disc does not play Wrong Region Code; Disc upside down Insert disc with correct Region Code; Place disc label-side up.
Disc sound is discontinuous Disc is scratched or dirty Clean the disc.
Playback sounds strange Vocal Masking or Key adjustment activated Cancel Vocal Masking or Key adjustment.
No subtitle appears Disc programmed to always display no subtitle Press SUB TITLE after starting play.
Audio language is different Disc programmed to always use original language Press AUDIO/MPX after starting play.
