Basic Operations
Turning on the power: Turn the ignition switch. The startup screen appears for about 5 seconds. You can change the startup screen.
Turning off/on the screen: Press [Hold] on the AV MAP/DISP OFF button.
GPS Signal Reception: Messages indicate the status of GPS signal reception. "Check GPS Antenna" prompts to check the antenna connection. "Acquiring GPS Signal" means the unit is acquiring signals; wait for completion. If GPS signals cannot be received, move to a location with better reception.
Touch Panel Operations
Menus/Lists: Navigate menus by touching options. To change pages in menus or lists, use the page change buttons.
Selecting Folder/Track: Select a folder (1), then a track (2).
Scrolling Song Information: When text is not fully displayed, scroll to see complete information.
