Getting Started:

  • Power On/Off: Press the STANDBY/ON (╰/╮) button. The green indicator lights when powered on, red when in standby.
  • Source Selection: Use the "COMPU PLAY" buttons (CD, TAPE, TUNER, AUX) for one-touch source selection and playback.
  • CD Playback: Load CDs into the trays, then press the corresponding DISC button (e.g., DISC 1). Use playback controls for play, pause, stop, search, skip, and programmed playback. Multiple CDs can be loaded and played consecutively or in a programmed order.
  • Cassette Playback: Load a cassette tape, press the TAPE button and the playback button (╰). Use reverse mode buttons and the counter reset function.
  • Radio Reception: Press the TUNER button, select the band (FM/AM), and tune to a station using tuning or preset buttons. Seek tuning and manual tuning are available.
  • Recording: Use ONE TOUCH REC for synchronized CD to cassette recording or radio/AUX to cassette recording.
  • Tape Dubbing: Perform normal or high-speed dubbing from Deck A to Deck B.
  • Clock & Timer: Set the current time using the CLOCK button. Timer operations (recording/playback) can be set for specific times.
  • Sleep Timer: Set a sleep timer to automatically turn off the unit after a set period.

Troubleshooting and error codes

• When abnormal operation occurs. • Reception is noisy.
*Unplug the AC power cord from the AC outlet. Then reconnect and switch the /1ON. * Try adjusting the antenna.
• Power cannot be turned on. (Timer Section)
* is the power cord unplugged? • Timer operation does not start.
• No sound from the speakers. * Is the current time set correctly?
* Are headphones connected? *Is the timer mode indicator (O) displayed?
(CD Player Section) (Remote Control)
• The CD player does not play. • Remote control is impossible.
* Is the CD upside down? * Are the batteries in the remote control exhausted?
* Is the CD dirty? * Is the remote sensor section exposed to bright light (direct sunlight, etc.)?
• A certain portion of the CD does not play correctly. Note:
* Is the CD scratched? Before making an important recording, be sure to make a test recording first to check that the deck, etc. is working correctly.
• CD playback is not performed when the CD CONTROL button is pressed.
* is program mode engaged?
• When the operation stops.
* Switch the 6/1 standby and ON again.
(Cassette Deck Section)
• Playback sound is at a very low level.
