| Sound quality is poor. | Check if TAPE switch is set correctly. |
| REC button cannot be pressed. | Check if safety tabs of cassette tape are removed. Check if cassette is loaded. |
| CD loaded, but total tune number and total playback time are not displayed. | Check if disc is upside down, dirty, damaged/warped, or if the lens is dirty or has condensation. |
| No sound from speakers. | Check if headphones are connected. |
| Tape speed is irregular (wow and flutter). | Check if pinch roller or capstan is dirty. Check if batteries are run down. |
| High-speed dubbing cannot be performed. | Check if FUNCTION switch is set correctly. |
| Moisture formation inside the deck (after moving from cold to warm place). | Wait 1-2 hours for normal operation to be restored. |
