Press the /I button to turn the unit on. The STANDBY indicator will go out, and the display window will light up (for 5 seconds with DC power). Press the /I button again to turn the unit off. The STANDBY indicator will light up, and the display window will show the clock time.
When the unit is in STANDBY mode, pressing the source button (CD, TAPE, TUNER, or AUX) will turn the unit on and select the source. For example, pressing the CD button will start CD playback if a CD is loaded.
CD Player: Press /I to play/pause, ■ to stop. Use the REW/FF buttons for skip or search functions.
Cassette Deck: Press TAPE to start playback. Use REW, STOP, and FF for tape control. The reverse mode can be selected.
Tuner: Press TUNER BAND to select the tuner mode. Use seek tuning or manual tuning to find stations. The antenna should be adjusted for optimal reception.
