To turn the power on:
When DVD is selected, the opening screen may appear. Possible messages include "OPEN/CLOSE", "NOW READING", "REGION CODE ERROR!", and "NO DISC".
To turn the power off:
NOTE: The subwoofer power is linked to the center unit. The POWER ON lamp on the subwoofer lights green when power is on. A small amount of power is consumed by the center unit when off (standby mode). Unplug the power cord for complete shut-off.
To turn the system on via remote: You can also use OPEN/CLOSE, a source selecting button, or the / button.
