Warranty Information

This limited warranty covers the product for 1 year for parts and 90 days for labor in the USA, District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.

Basic Operation:

  • Turning On/Off: Use the power button to turn the System on or off. The sleep timer can also be used to turn off the System automatically.
  • Adjusting Volume: Use the VOLUME buttons on the remote control or center unit. Press MUTING to temporarily silence the audio.
  • Selecting Source: Use the SOURCE button on the remote or center unit to choose between DVD, USB, iPod, XM Satellite Radio, FM/AM, or external components (VIDEO1/VIDEO2 or VIDEO).
  • Disc/File Playback: Select the "DVD" source to play discs. For files, connect a USB mass storage device or iPod and select the corresponding source. Use playback controls (play, pause, stop, search) as needed.
  • Sound Settings: Adjust speaker position, output levels, and surround modes to optimize audio.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Troubleshooting
Power does not come on.
- The power plug is not inserted securely. Plug it in securely.
Unable to operate the System from the remote control.
- The path between the remote control and the remote sensor on the center unit is blocked.
- The batteries are exhausted.
No sound is heard.
- The speaker connections and/or audio cord connections are incorrect or loose. (See pages 5, 8, 9)
- Headphones are connected.
The sound is distorted
- The speaker layout (page 6) does not match the speaker position mode (page 12).
No picture appears on the TV.
- The video cord connections are incorrect or loose. (See pages 7-9)
The picture does not fit the TV.
- The monitor type is not set correctly. (page 23)
No picture is displayed on the TV, the picture is blurred, or the picture is divided into two parts.
- The scanning mode is set to the progressive mode even though the TV connected to the System does not support progressive video input. (page 14)
