Basic Operations

Turning the system on/off

\n

On the remote control: Press / AUDIO. On the center unit: Press /.

\n

Note: A small amount of power is consumed even when the power is turned off. Unplug the power cord to turn off completely.

Selecting the source to play

\n

On the remote control: Press one of the source buttons (VIDEO1-3, USB MEMORY, iPod).

\n

On the center unit: Press INPUT SELECTOR repeatedly until the desired source appears on the display.

Adjusting the volume [VOLUME]

\n

On the remote control: Press AUDIO VOLUME +/-. On the center unit: Press VOLUME +/-.

Listening with headphones

\n

Connect headphones to the PHONES jack. The system automatically switches to headphone mode.

Turning off the sound temporarily [MUTING]

\n

Press MUTING. To restore sound, press MUTING again, or adjust volume.

Adjusting the brightness of the indications [DIMMER]

\n

Press DIMMER. Cycles through 3 brightness levels.

Sleep Timer [SLEEP]

\n

Press SLEEP repeatedly to set the timer (10-180 minutes). The SLEEP indicator lights up. Press SLEEP repeatedly until \"SLEEP --\" appears to cancel.

Adjusting the output level of the speakers and subwoofer

Press SPK LEVEL to select the speaker, then use +/- to adjust the level.

Changing the scanning mode

\n

For JPEG/MPEG/ASF files, press and hold SCAN MODE, then use +/- to select PAL, PAL PRG, NTSC, or NTSC PRG, and press ENTER.
