Getting Started

Step 1: Unpack Check accessories: FM antenna, AM loop antenna, remote control, batteries.

Step 2: Prepare Remote Control Insert batteries, matching polarity.

Step 3: Hook Up Connect antennas and speakers. Plug in AC power cord.

Daily Operations—Playback

Turn on the power The STANDBY lamp turns off. You can also turn on by selecting a source.

Select the source CD, FM/AM, USB, AUX.

Adjust the volume Use VOLUME +/- buttons.

Operate the target source Refer to specific sections for radio, CD, PC, or other equipment playback.

Listening to the Radio

Select band (FM/AM). Tune in to a station using remote or main unit controls. Preset stations for quick access.

Playing Back a Disc

Insert disc. Select disc (CD1-CD5). Playback starts automatically or by pressing CD/II. Use controls to pause, stop, fast-forward, or rewind.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Solution
General
Adjustments or settings are suddenly canceled before you finish. There is a time limit. Repeat the procedure again.
Operations are disabled. The built-in microprocessor may malfunction due to external electrical interference. Unplug the AC power cord and then plug it back in.
Unable to operate the System from the remote control.
The path between the remote control and the remote sensor on the System is blocked. Point it at the remote sensor on the font panel.
Signals cannot reach the remote sensor. More closer to the System.
The batteries are exhausted. Replace batteries.
No sound is heard from the speakers.
Speaker connections are incorrect or loose (see page 7).
Headphones are connected (see page 9).
Sound from PC connected with a USB cable has some noise (see page 13).
PC is subjected to excessive load due to using other applications. Close the applications you do not use.
PC is connected via USB Hub. Connect the PC directly to the main unit with a USB cable.
System does not turn off.
QP Link is active (see page 14).
Radio Operations:
Hard to listen to broadcasts because of noise (see pages 4 to 7).
Antennas connections are incorrect or loose. Check antenna connections.
The AM loop antenna is too close to the System. Move the AM loop antenna away from the System.
The FM antenna is not properly extended and positioned. Extend and position the FM antenna properly.
Disc Operations:
The disc does not play. The disc is placed upside down. Place the disc with the label side up.
The disc sound is discontinuous. The disc is scratched or dirty.
The disc tray does not open or close.
The AC power cord is not plugged in. Plug in the AC power cord.
Child Lock is in use (see page 19).
Timer Operations:
Daily Timer does not work. The System has been turned on when the on-time comes. Timer starts working only when the System is turned off.
