RECORDING FILES
1. Open the LCD monitor to turn on the unit. Remove the lens cap.
2. Press button to select the recording mode. Press/ button to select the video or still image mode.
3. Press START/STOP button to start recording. Press again to stop.
STILL IMAGE RECORDING
1. Press halfway to focus (lights up green when focused).
2. Press fully to take still image.
USING THE OPERATION BUTTONS
Touch icons on the left side or bottom buttons to select operations.
CHANGING MENU SETTINGS
1. Select an item from the menu.
2. Touch the button or slide finger up/down on the Slider.
3. Touch the button.
PLAYBACK VIDEOS
1. Open LCD monitor to turn on.
2. Press button to select playback mode. Press/ button for video/still.
3. Select from index screen (thumbnails) using Slider. Touch button.
PLAYBACK ON A TV
Connect camera to TV using HDMI or AV cable. Turn off both devices before connecting. For HDMI, set output to AUTO 1 if your TV is 1080p compatible.
Troubleshooting and error codes

| No Power | Battery not charged | Charge the battery pack. |
| Battery incorrectly inserted | Insert battery pack correctly. | |
| Cannot record | No SD card inserted | Insert an SD card. |
| SD card is full | Format or replace the SD card. | |
| SD card not compatible | Use a compatible SD card. | |
| Picture is shaky | Camera movement | Use a tripod or monopod, or stabilize your body. |
| Picture is overexposed | High contrast scene | Adjust aiming or zoom slightly to reduce contrast. |
