Viewing the "Detailed User Guide":

1. Charge the camcorder.
2. Turn on the computer.
3. Press the power button to turn on the camcorder.
4. Connect the camcorder to a computer.
5. Follow on-screen instructions for Windows or Mac users to access the guide.

Names of Components:

• LCD Monitor
• Focus Switching Lever
• Power Button
• Buttons for Navigation, Zoom, and Volume
• Recording Start/Stop Button, Shutter Button, Set Button
• Reset Hole (for malfunctions)

Inserting an SD Card:

Use SDHC cards (Class 4 or higher, 4 GB to 32 GB). Slide open the cover and insert the card.

Charging:

1. Turn off the camcorder.
2. Connect to a computer via USB cable.
3. Charging takes approx. 180 minutes.

Setting Date and Time:

1. Turn on power and select recording mode.
2. Navigate to "Time setup" via the menu.
3. Set date and time using navigation and set buttons.
4. Exit the menu.

Video Recording/Playback:

• Recording: Select video mode, press set button to start/stop.
• Playback: Select playback mode, navigate to video, press set button to play/stop.

Still Image Recording/Playback:

• Recording: Select still image mode, press set button to capture.
• Playback: Select playback mode, navigate to image, press set button.
• Delete: Select video/image, press delete button, confirm with "Yes".

Viewing Files on TV:

1. Connect camcorder to TV via AV cable.
2. Select external input mode on TV.
3. Play back video or still image.

Saving Files on a Computer:

1. Charge and turn on camcorder.
2. Connect to computer.
3. Double-click the drive (FMCAM_SD or FMCAM_INT for Windows, NO_NAME for Macintosh).
4. Copy files from the "DCIM" folder.
