- Charging the Battery Pack: Immediately after purchase and when low, charge the battery. Insert battery, close cover, and connect AC adapter. Charging starts, and POWER/CHARGE blinks.
- Clock Setting: Turn on the unit, tap "YES" to set date/time. Adjust year, month, day, hour, minute using "^" and "v", then tap "SET". Select region and tap "SAVE".
- Inserting an SD Card: Turn off the unit. Open the cover, insert the SD card, and close the cover.
- Taking Still Images: Press power, select still image mode, set dial to "i.AUTO". Press SNAPSHOT button halfway, then fully to capture.
- Taking Videos: Press power, select video mode, set dial to "i.AUTO". Press to start recording, press again to stop.
- Playing Back Still Images: Select still image mode, then playback mode. Use zoom lever to navigate. Tap file to start playback. Magnify image by tapping areas.
- Playing Back Videos: Select video mode, then playback mode. Tap file to start playback. Tap for pause, or START/STOP to capture still image.
Troubleshooting and error codes
