Getting Started

Charging the Battery Pack: Connect the AC adapter to the charger and plug into an AC outlet. Attach the battery pack to the charger. The charge indicator blinks while charging and stays lit when finished.

Installing the Battery Pack: Open the battery cover, insert the charged battery pack, and close the cover.

Indoor Use: Use the AC adapter instead of a battery by connecting it to the camcorder.

Using the CAM Stand: Attach the CAM Stand for stable shooting or playback on flat surfaces.

Date/Time Settings: Open the LCD monitor, select AUTO mode, access the Recording Menu, then the Date/Time Menu to set the date and time.

Loading/Unloading a Cassette: Turn on the power, slide the OPEN/EJECT switch, open the cassette cover, insert/remove the tape, and push to close the holder.

Recording Mode Setting: Set the SP-LP switch for Standard Play or Long Play.

Hand Strap Attachment: Thread the strap through the eyelet for a secure grip.

Sun Hood Attachment: Mount the sun hood on the LCD monitor for reduced glare.

Grip Attachment: Align and tighten the grip screw to the tripod mounting socket.

Remote Control Unit: Install a CR2025 battery and use the unit to control the camcorder when attached to the Docking Station.

Basic Recording

Open the LCD monitor, turn on the power to 'REC', select 'AUTO' mode, and press START/STOP to begin recording. Press START/STOP again to end recording.
