  • Charging the Battery Pack: Connect the battery pack to the AC Charger Station, plug it in, and wait for the charger indicator to stop blinking, indicating full charge.
  • Installing the Battery Pack: Open the battery cover, insert the charged battery pack with the “+” mark facing down, and close the cover.
  • Indoor Use: Connect the AC Charger Station directly to the camcorder using the DC cord for power.
  • Loading/Unloading a Cassette: Turn on the camcorder, slide the OPEN/EJECT switch, open the cassette cover, insert/remove the tape, and close the holder and cover.
  • Recording Mode: Select “SP” or “LP” in the Recording Menu.
  • Basic Recording: Set the Power Dial to “M”, open the LCD monitor, press START/STOP to begin recording, and press it again to stop.
  • Recording from the Middle of a Tape: Set Power Dial to “PLAY”, search for the desired point, press II/► twice to engage Still mode, then set Power Dial to another mode and press START/STOP.
  • Brightness Control: Rotate the Select Dial to adjust display brightness.
  • Indications ON/OFF: Press and hold the IND.ON/OFF button for over 1 second to toggle display indications.
