  • Charging the Battery Pack: Set the power switch to OFF, attach the battery pack, connect the DC connector and plug in the power. Charging lamps indicate progress.
  • Inserting an SD Card: Turn the unit OFF, open the SD card slot door, insert the SD card into slot A or B, and close the door.
  • Clock Setting: Turn the unit ON, open the LCD monitor, confirm date/time setting, set date and time, select region, and save.
  • Video Recording: Open the lens cover, check the mode is video and set to Intelligent Auto (i.A.), then press the REC button to start recording. Press again to stop.
  • Still Image Recording: Check the mode is still image, set the focus by pressing the SNAPSHOT button halfway, and take the image by pressing fully.
  • Playback: Select playback mode, then tap the desired file to play. Use operation buttons for pause, skip, etc.
  • Playing Back on TV: Connect the camera to the TV using an HDMI or AV cable. Turn on both devices, select the TV input, and start playback.
  • Copying to Computer: Connect the unit to the computer using a USB cable and AC adapter. Tap "CONNECT TO PC", select the device, and copy files. Safely eject the media before disconnecting.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Power supply: POWER/CHARGE lamp starts blinking when the power is turned off. • The battery pack is being charged. 8
Recording: Recording cannot be performed. • Check the [REC]/[PAUSE] button. • Set to the recording mode by tapping the "<<CAM" button. 13, 16
Recording: Recording stops automatically. • Turn off this unit, wait for a while, and turn it on again. (This unit stops automatically to protect the circuit when the temperature rises.) • Recording stops automatically after 12 hours of continuous recording. -
Recording: Unable to record properly in the Intelligent Auto mode. • When there are multiple light sources and depending on the shooting conditions, exposure and focus may not be adjusted correctly in the Intelligent Auto mode. In this case, adjust the settings manually. -
Playback: Sound or video is interrupted. • Sometimes playback is interrupted at the connecting section between two scenes. This is not a malfunction. -
