Unit does not function properly Reset the unit: Turn off power, remove and reattach AC adapter and battery pack, then turn unit on. If problem persists, consult JVC dealer or service center.
Battery Pack issues Do not burn, short-circuit terminals, modify, disassemble, or expose to high temperatures. Use only specified chargers. Keep away from metallic objects.
For prolonged life, avoid shock, charge in specified temperature range (10°C to 35°C), store in cool, dry place, maintain 30% charge for long periods, and remove from charger when not in use.
Battery is recyclable; call 1-800-8-BATTERY for information (USA/Canada).
Recording Medium issues Do not bend, drop, apply pressure, splash with water, expose to static electricity/magnetic fields, or turn off power during operation. Do not touch metal parts. For complete erasure, use specialized software or physically destroy the medium.
LCD Monitor issues Do not push or shock the LCD. Do not place camcorder with LCD facing down. Avoid rubbing with coarse cloth. Bright/dark spots on LCD are not malfunctions.
