Getting Started

Charging the Battery Pack

1. Attach the battery pack.
2. Connect the DC connector.
3. Plug in the power.

Grip Adjustment

1. Open the lever on the strap lock.
2. Adjust the length of the belt.
3. Close the lever.

Using as a Hand Strap

Adjust the length of the belt and loop it around your wrist.

Inserting an SD Card

Follow the steps to insert an SD card into the camera.

Video Recording

1. Open the lens cover.
2. Select video mode.
3. Check if the recording mode is i.A. Intelligent Auto.
4. Start recording. Press again to stop.

Still Image Recording

1. Select still image mode.
2. Set the focus on the subject.
3. Take a still image.

Playback

Playing Back/Deleting Files on this Unit

1. Select video or still image mode.
2. Tap on the touch screen to select the playback mode.
3. Tap on the file to play back.

Playing Back on TV

1. Connect to a TV.

Copying

Copying Files

You can create discs or copy files by connecting to various devices.

Dubbing Files by Connecting to a DVD Recorder or VCR

1. Connect to a VCR/DVD recorder.
2. Tap to select the playback mode.
3. Prepare to record.
4. Start recording.

Copying to Computer

You can copy files to a PC using the provided software.
