Charging the Battery Pack

1. Attach the battery pack by aligning the top with the mark and sliding it in until it clicks. 2. Connect the AC adapter to the DC connector. 3. Plug in the power.

Turning On the Unit

1. Open the LCD monitor. The unit turns on. 2. Closing the LCD monitor turns the unit off.

Recording

1. Open the lens cover. 2. Open the LCD monitor. The unit turns on. 3. Check if the recording mode is Intelligent Auto. If not, press the i. AUTO button to switch. 4. Press the START/STOP button to start recording, and press it again to stop.

Playback

1. Press the ID (Play/Record) button to switch to playback mode. 2. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to select a video file. 3. Press the START/STOP button to play.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue	Solution
Cannot insert the SD card.	Make sure not to insert the card in the wrong direction.
Sound or video is interrupted.	Sometimes playback is interrupted at the connecting section between two scenes. This is not a malfunction.
The same image is displayed for a long time.	Replace the SD card. If the SD card is damaged, difficulty in reading data occurs, but the unit will try to play back as much as possible.
The motion is choppy.	Replace the SD card. If the SD card is damaged, difficulty in reading data occurs, but the unit will try to play back as much as possible. Execute "FORMAT SD CARD" in the "MEDIA SETTINGS" menu. Verify system requirements of your PC when using LoiLoScope AX to play back.
No date/time display.	Set "ON-SCREEN DISPLAY" in the menu accordingly. Set "DISPLAY ON TV" in the menu to "ON".
Images are projected vertically on the TV.	Set "VIDEO OUTPUT" in the "CONNECTION SETTINGS" menu to "4:3". Adjust the TV's screen accordingly.
The image displayed on TV is too small.	Set "VIDEO OUTPUT" in the "CONNECTION SETTINGS" menu to "16:9".
