Getting Started

Charging the Battery: Connect the AC adapter to the unit and an AC outlet. The charging lamp indicates charging status.
Inserting an SD Card: Open the terminal cover, turn off the unit, insert an SD card into the slot.

Video Recording: Ensure the recording mode is set to Video and i.A. (Intelligent Auto). Press START/STOP to begin recording and again to stop. Use the zoom lever to adjust zoom.

Playing Back/Deleting Files: Select Video or Still Image mode, tap PLAY, select a file to play. Pause with II, return to index with <. Tap to delete files, then SET and EXECUTE.

Troubleshooting	Possible Cause/Solution
Unit does not function properly	Electrostatic discharge, external noise, or interference may be preventing operation. Reset the unit by removing all cables, pressing the Reset button (inside terminal cover), and then reconnecting the AC adapter. If the problem persists, consult a JVC dealer or service center.
Built-in battery issues	To avoid hazards: Do not burn, modify, disassemble, or expose to temperatures exceeding 60°C (140°F). To prolong service life: Avoid shocks, charge within 10°C-35°C (50°F-95°F), store in cool/dry place, keep battery at 30% if unused for a long time, fully charge/discharge every 6 months. Remove AC adapter when not in use.
