| Troubleshooting | Integrated Battery |
| If you have problems with the operation of this unit, first check the following points before contacting customer service. | This unit is equipped with a built-in lithium-ion battery. Before using this unit, be sure to read the following precautions: |
| 1. Refer to the "Troubleshooting" section in the "Extended User Manual". |
• For accident prevention
Never throw batteries into fire. Never attempt to modify or disassemble the battery. Never expose the unit to temperatures above 60°C, as the built-in battery could overheat, explode, or catch fire. |
| If you have difficulty operating the unit, consult the detailed descriptions in the "Extended User Manual". http://manual3.jvckenwood.com/index.html/ |
• To prevent damage and extend the battery life
Never subject the battery to excessive shocks or jolts. Charge the battery at a temperature between 10°C and 35°C. Low temperatures require a longer charging time, and in some cases charging may stop altogether. Higher temperatures prevent complete charging, and in some cases prevent it altogether. Store the battery in a cool, dry place. Prolonged exposure to high temperatures accelerates natural discharge and shortens battery life. Maintain a battery level (■) of 30% if you do not intend to use it for a long period. Additionally, fully charge and then completely discharge the battery every 6 months, then continue to store it with a battery level (■) of 30%. Remove the AC adapter from the unit when not in use, as some devices consume power even when turned off. Do not intentionally drop or subject to violent shocks. |
| 2. This unit is controlled by a microcomputer. Electrostatic discharge, external noise, and interference (from a TV set, radio, etc.) may impede normal operation. Reset the unit in such cases. ① Remove all cables from this unit. ② Press the "Reset" button located inside the connector cover. (Before pressing the reset button, close the LCD monitor to turn off the unit.) ③ Reconnect the AC adapter, open the LCD monitor, and the unit will turn on automatically. | |
| 3. If the above measures do not resolve the problem, please contact your nearest JVC dealer or JVC service center. |
