Getting Started

  • Charging the Battery: Connect the AC adapter and power cord to charge the built-in battery. The CHARGE lamp indicates charging status.
  • Inserting an SD Card: Close the LCD monitor, open the terminal cover, and insert a compatible SD card into slot A or B. Format the card before first use.
  • Initial Settings: Upon first use, open the LCD monitor to perform initial settings, including language selection and setting the time zone, date, and time.
  • Recording Video: Check for a recordable SD card and ensure the recording mode is set to Auto. Press the START/STOP button to begin recording and again to stop. Use the zoom lever to adjust zoom.

Playback/Deletion

  • Tap PLAY to enter playback mode. Select video or photo mode, then select the file to play and tap the Play button.
  • To delete files, use the cursor to select unwanted files, open the Action menu, select "Delete Scenes," choose "This Scene" or "All Scenes," and confirm deletion.

Refer to the “Troubleshooting” section in the "Detailed User Guide". • To avoid hazards: do not burn, modify, or disassemble the unit. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 60°C (140°F).
This unit is microcomputer-controlled and may be affected by electrostatic discharge, external noise, or interference. Reset the unit by removing cables, pressing the Reset button inside the terminal cover, and reconnecting the AC adapter. • To prevent damage and prolong service life: avoid shocks, charge within 10°C to 35°C (50°F to 95°F), store in a cool, dry place, maintain a 30% battery level for long-term storage, and remove the AC adapter when not in use.
If problems persist, contact a JVC dealer or service center. • Do not drop intentionally or subject to strong impact.
