  • Charging the Battery Pack: Open the battery cover, attach the battery pack, and close the cover. Connect the DC connector and plug it in. The CHARGE lamp indicates charging status.
  • Inserting an SD Card: Close the LCD monitor, open the cover, and insert an SD card. Turn off the power before inserting or removing.
  • Video Recording: Check the recording mode is video. Check if Intelligent Auto mode is selected. Start recording by pressing the START/STOP button. You can zoom and tag scenes.
  • Still Image Recording: Check if the mode is still image. Set focus by pressing the shutter button halfway. Take a photo by pressing the shutter button fully.
  • Playback: Select video or still image mode. Tap PLAY to select playback mode. Tap on a file to play back. Use volume controls. To delete, tap the delete icon, select files, and confirm.
  • Playing Back on TV: Connect using HDMI mini cable or AV connector. Turn on the camera and TV, select the TV input, and start playback.

General Problems

2. Reset the unit: Turn off power, remove and reattach AC adapter and battery pack, then turn on the unit.
Battery Pack Issues
- Do not burn, short-circuit terminals, modify, or expose to extreme temperatures.
- Use only specified chargers.
- Prolong service life by avoiding shocks, charging within temperature range, storing in cool/dry place, and maintaining 30% charge for long periods.
Recording Medium Issues
- Do not bend, drop, expose to pressure, or water.
- Avoid static electricity or electrical noise.
- Do not turn off power or remove media during operation.
- Keep away from magnetic fields.
- Do not store in high temperature/humidity.
- Do not touch metal parts.
LCD Monitor Issues
- Do not push strongly or apply shocks.
- Do not place the camcorder with LCD monitor at the bottom.
- Avoid rubbing with coarse cloth.
- Pixels may appear as bright or dark spots, which is not a malfunction.
