Installing Your New Unit
- Basic Connections: Connect antenna, AC power cord, and then connect to TV via RF, AV, S-VIDEO, or Component Video connections. Set VCR channel if using RF connection.
- Plug & Play Set: Connect antenna and AC power cord. The unit automatically sets clock and tuner channels.
- Monitor Set (DVD Deck): Select the correct aspect ratio (16:9, 4:3LB, 4:3PS) for your TV.
- Language Set: Choose the on-screen display language for both VCR and DVD decks.
- Menu/Audio/Subtitle Language Set (DVD Deck): Select preferred languages for DVD menu, audio, and subtitles.
- Child Lock: Press and hold POWER for 10 seconds to lock/unlock the unit's operation.
- Scan Mode Set (DVD Deck): Switch between progressive (480p) and interlaced (480i) scan modes for enhanced picture quality.
Troubleshooting and error codes

| MP3 Playback (DVD deck) | ||

Replace the disc. Add correct file extension (.mp3, .MP3 or any uppercase and lowercase combination such as ".Mp3") to their file names. Replace the disc. (Record MP3 files using a compliant application.) The disc which contains the different types of files may not be played because of its disc characteristics or recording conditions. |
