Basic Operations

Turning on the power

Turn on the ignition switch. The power turns on automatically. When the map screen appears for the first time, press OK.

Turning off/on the screen

Press and hold MAP to turn the screen off. Touch the screen to turn it back on.

Adjust the angle of the front panel

Press the panel angle button, then select the desired angle. The panel moves to the selected angle when turned on, and resets to 0 when turned off.

Operations on the touch panel

Non-available menu items are shaded. To change pages in menus or lists, use the page change or tab change functions. Scrolling of song information may be limited while driving.

Using the Quick menu

The Quick menu provides access to frequently used features. Touch the screen to activate and customize it.

Extending/shortening the auto antenna

Press SRC and then the antenna extend/shorten buttons. The antenna retracts when the unit is turned off.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Troubleshooting Solution
The fuse blows. Are the red and black leads connected correctly?
Power cannot be turned on. Is the yellow lead connected?
No sound from the speakers. Is the speaker output lead short-circuited?
Sound is distorted. Is the speaker output lead grounded? Are the "-" terminals of L and R speakers grounded in common?
Noise interfere with sounds. Connect the thicker cord to the car's chassis.
This unit becomes hot. Is the speaker output lead grounded? Are the "-" terminals of L and R speakers grounded in common?
This unit does not work at all. Turn off, then turn on the unit.
