  • Power Connection: Connect the supplied AC adapter to the TV and a 100-240V AC, 50/60 Hz outlet. Allow the TV to reach room temperature before connecting.

  • Antenna Connection: Connect the aerial or cable TV plug to the RF input socket at the back of the TV.

  • Switching On/Off: Press the main power button or the "/I" button on the remote. Press "/I" to switch to standby mode.

  • Initial Settings (APS): Use the remote to select language, country, and then start Automatic Programming System (APS) to scan channels.

  • Menu System: Press the MENU button to access Picture, Sound, Feature, Install, and Program sub-menus for TV customization.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Tips Troubleshooting Steps
Care of the Screen Clean with a slightly damp, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive solvents.
Colors of image on screen are abnormal Check TV system, aerial location (proximity to speakers, neon lights), aerial direction. Disconnect one peripheral if two are connected.
Is the picture or Teletext unrecognisable? Check if the correct frequency has been entered.
No Image on Display Screen Check aerial connection, plug tightness, cable condition, and plug suitability. Ensure correct buttons are pressed on remote.
PC Picture Check D-SUB cable connection and PC resolution. Refer to page 28 for supported modes.
Sound Check if mute is activated (press "" button). Ensure external speakers are connected. Check balance setting in Sound menu.
Remote Control If unresponsive, batteries may be exhausted. Replace batteries. Check if the correct menu is selected; press MENU or BACK to return to normal screen.
No solution Switch TV off and on. If unresolved, switch off, remove mains plug, and call service personnel. Do not attempt self-repair.
