Warranty Information

Warranty information and contact details for assistance are provided on pages 19 and 20.

Basic Operating

The joystick function button at the rear of the monitor allows for simple operation of the monitor's functions. Pressing the button switches the monitor on or off. Moving the button right displays the OSD main menu, moving it left returns to the upper menu or exits the OSD menu. Moving up or down adjusts values or selects options. In VGA signal mode, moving right automatically executes the "Image Auto Adjust" function. Moving right when not in the OSD menu also acts as a fast button for ECO settings (STANDARD/TEXT/GAME/MOVIE/FPS/RTS) and game settings.

Eco Friendly Function

The unit features an ECO-Power mode that automatically switches the monitor to off mode if no input signal is received for several seconds. The monitor will switch back on automatically when an HDMI or VGA signal is received. For long periods of inactivity, disconnect the monitor from the mains socket.

Customizing Settings

To access the OSD main menu, move the joystick function button to the left. Use the buttons to navigate menus and sub-menus, adjusting settings to your preference. Move the button left to confirm settings or exit menus. Options include Brightness, Contrast, ECO modes, Dynamic Contrast Ratio (DCR), Hue, Saturation, Image position and clock (VGA signals only), Phase (VGA signals only), Aspect ratio, Colour Temperature, Red, Green, Blue colour adjustments, Language selection, OSD position, OSD timer, Transparency, Image Auto Adjust (VGA signals only), Color Auto Adjust (VGA signals only), Reset to factory settings, Signal Source selection (VGA/HDMI), and Eye Saver mode.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
No image on screen
  • Check if the power button has been switched on.
  • Verify the brightness and contrast of the monitor is within the normal setting.
  • Check if the power indicator is turns on. If so, this indicates that the monitor is not receiving the input signal.
  • If the signal indicator is a notebook or laptop, make sure that the signal has been switched to screen mode.
  • Make sure that the computer is turned on and is not sleeping.
  • Make sure that the correct input is selected.
Out of Focus
  • Check if the image signal cable is inserted properly.
Flashing Screen
  • The power is insufficient to connect the monitor or is too weak.
  • To avoid a magnetic field around the monitor, move devices like speakers, fluorescent lights, AC transformers, table fans, etc. farther away.
Wrong or Unusual Color
  • If red, green, blue, or any of the color disappears, check to see if the signal cord is connected properly. If the plug is loose it might cause a bad connection.
  • Try connecting another PC for comparison.
Horizontal Screen Rolling
  • Retighten the signal cable.
