Basic Operations

Interference from nearby equipment or poor aerial connection. Check for interference from loudspeakers, non-earthed audio equipment, or neon lights. Ensure the TV set or house aerial is not too close to these. Change the direction of the aerial.
Mountains or high buildings causing ghost images. Sometimes changing the aerial direction can improve picture quality.
Incorrect frequency entered for Teletext. Check if the correct frequency has been entered.
Two peripherals connected simultaneously. Disconnect one of the peripherals.
No Image on Display Screen Aerial not connected properly or is damaged. Check if the aerial is connected properly, if plugs are tight, and if the aerial cable is damaged. Use suitable plugs. Consult your dealer if in doubt.
TV is not receiving any transmission. Ensure the aerial is connected correctly. Press the correct buttons on the remote control. Try again.
