Connecting Your Speakers:
1. Ensure the receiver's power cord is unplugged.
2. Connect speaker wires to corresponding colored terminals on speakers and receiver. Do not push wires too far into terminals.
Setting Up Your Receiver:
Use the remote control and follow these steps:
1. Press SETUP 8 times (display shows "AUTO").
2. Rock MULTI CONTROL forward (display shows "MANUAL").
3. Press SETUP repeatedly to select speaker, hear test noise.
4. Rock MULTI CONTROL forward/backward to adjust volume.
5. Press SETUP 5 times to exit setup mode.
Setting Speaker Distances:
1. Measure distances from speakers to listening seat.
2. Press SETUP 11 times (display shows "10FT 3.0M", L/R icons flash).
3. Rock MULTI CONTROL to match L/R speaker distance.
4. Press SETUP again, repeat for center and surround speakers.
5. Press SETUP 2 times to exit.
Troubleshooting and error codes
| If the subwoofer causes discoloration of the TV picture, move it away from the TV until the discoloration disappears. |
| If the receiver's subwoofer volume control won't go loud or soft enough, re-adjust the subwoofer's volume knob to compensate. |
