Basic use method
1. Switching the power ON (OFF)
The power can also be turned ON by pressing the play key of the CD player, the play key of the cassette deck or the BAND key of the tuner. When the ON/STANDBY key is pressed while the power is ON, the power will be switched OFF.
2. Selecting the desired output
- TUNER (Radio)
- CD
- TAPE
- AUX (External input)
3. Volume adjustment
Turn the VOLUME CONTROL knob to adjust the volume.
Muting the sound temporarily
Press the MUTE key on the remote control unit. Press again to resume the original volume. The sound muting is also canceled when the volume is controlled.
Bass compensation (EX.BASS)
Press the EX.BASS key to switch it ON and OFF alternately. It is automatically switched off during recording.
STANDBY mode of ON/STANDBY (/) switch
When the display shows the time or "--:--", a small amount of current is supplied to the unit to back up the internal memory. The unit in STANDBY mode can be turned ON from the remote control unit.
Troubleshooting and error codes
