Warranty Information
Refer to the model and serial numbers whenever you call upon your dealer for information or service.
- Preparation: Set the POWER ON/OFF switch to the ON position.
- Selecting the desired input: Use the INPUT SELECTOR keys on the remote or the INPUT key on the main unit to select the input source (Tuner, VCR, SAT/CABLE, FRONT, DVD/CD, TV).
- Volume adjustment: Use the VOLUME CONTROL knob on the main unit or the VOLUME keys on the remote to adjust the volume.
- Muting the sound temporarily: Press the MUTE key on the remote. Press again or adjust volume to resume.
- Listening through headphone: Insert headphones into the PHONES jack. The unit automatically switches to stereo mode.
- Selecting the DSP mode: Press the LSTN M. key repeatedly to cycle through available sound modes (DOLBY PL II MOVIE, DOLBY PL II MUSIC, DOLBY PRO LOGIC, etc.).
- Selecting the NIGHT mode: Press the SOUND/NIGHT key, then the TRIM (▲/▼) key to toggle NIGHT ON or NIGHT OFF.
- Receiving broadcast station: Select the TUNER input, then the broadcast band (FM/AM), and a tuning mode (AUTO or MANUAL). Use P.CALL keys or numeric keys to select a preset station.
- Storing broadcast stations: Select a station, press ENTER, select a preset number, and press ENTER again.
Troubleshooting and error codes

During standby, the standby indicator will flash faster than normal, but when it goes out, the unit has returned to normal condition. If normal return is not obtained even when this operation has been repeated, contact your dealer for service. |
