1. Ensure the receiver and subwoofer power cords are unplugged.
2. Connect speaker wires by matching colors to terminals on speakers and receiver (red to red, black to black).
3. For the subwoofer, connect the black audio cable from the receiver's SUB WOOFER PRE OUT to the subwoofer's L/MONO INPUT.
Auto Power On/Off: The subwoofer turns on when it detects a signal and enters standby when idle. The indicator glows green when on, red when in standby. Turn the power switch off for extended periods.
Crossover Filter Switch: Set to 'Off' as the receiver has a built-in crossover.
Volume Control: Initially set the subwoofer volume to 11 o'clock. Use the receiver's subwoofer volume control for adjustments. Readjust the subwoofer's volume knob if needed.
1. Sit in your listening position and minimize noise.
2. Set receiver volume between -20dB and -25dB.
3. Press SETUP five times. Listen to test noise through each speaker.
4. Adjust each speaker's volume using MULTI CONTROL buttons to match the left front speaker's level.
5. For the subwoofer, adjust by ear using familiar music/films with strong bass content.
1. Measure distances from each speaker to your seat.
2. Press SETUP six times. Display shows left/right speaker distance.
3. Use MULTI CONTROL buttons to match distances (0.3m = 1 foot).
4. Repeat for center and surround speakers.
5. Press SETUP once to exit.
