Warranty Information

Refer to the warranty card for details.

  • Power/Source Select: Press [SRC] to turn on the unit. Press it again to switch between Tuner, USB/iPod, CD, Auxiliary, and Standby. Press and hold for at least 1 second to turn off the power.
  • Volume Control: Turn the [AUD] knob to adjust the volume.
  • Subwoofer Output: Press and hold [AM-] for at least 2 seconds to switch the subwoofer output ON/OFF.
  • Auxiliary Input: Connect a portable audio device with a 3.5Ø mini-plug cable. The auxiliary input must be enabled in the Menu System settings.
  • Faceplate Release: Press the Release button to detach the faceplate.
  • Display Switching: Press [DISP] to change displayed information.
  • Text/Title Scroll: Press and hold [DISP] for at least 1 second to scroll text.
  • Tuner Functions: Use [FM+] to switch FM bands and [AM-] for AM band. Tune frequencies with []/[]. Preset stations [1]-[6] can be recalled by pressing them. Auto Memory Entry [FM+] stores 6 stations automatically.
  • Disc & Audio File Playback: Insert a disc to play. Use []/[I] for music search and [FM+]/[AM-] for folder search. Use [4] for repeat play and [3] for random play.
  • USB/iPod Playback: Connect a USB device or iPod to the USB Terminal to start playback.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Troubleshooting
General ? The Touch Sensor Tone does not sound.
The preout jack is being used.
The Touch Sensor Tone cannot be output from the preout jack.
Tuner source ? Radio reception is poor.
The car antenna is not extended.
Pull the antenna out all the way.
Disc source ? The specified disc does not play, but another one plays instead.
The specified CD is quite dirty.
Clean the CD, referring to the CD cleaning of the section on <Handling CDs> (page 3).
The disc is loaded in a different slot from that specified.
Eject the disc magazine and check the number for the specified disc.
The disc is severely scratched.
Try another disc instead.
Audio file source ? The sound skips when an Audio file is being played.
The media is scratched or dirty.
Clean the media, referring to the CD cleaning of the section on <Handling CDs> (page 3).
The recording condition is bad.
Record the media again or use another media.
