Important Safeguards
Read this page carefully to keep your safety.
- 1. Suffocation: Dispose of polyethylene bags out of reach of children.
- 2. Power supply voltage: Connect speakers to DC 12V, negative ground.
- 3. Water and moisture: Do not install speakers in locations subject to water or moisture.
- 4. Dust and unstable locations: Do not install speakers in unstable or dusty locations.
- 5. Modification: Do not attempt to open or modify the unit.
- 6. Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use gasoline, naphtha, or solvents.
- 7. Abnormal smell: If smoke or abnormal smell occurs, switch power OFF immediately and contact your dealer.
Mounting Locations
Precautions:
- Check mounting space with the supplied template.
- Keep wiring away from motors and high-voltage leads to prevent noise pick-up.
- Keep wiring away from moving parts and sharp edges to prevent short-circuit.
- Be careful not to brush the unit when removing or installing the grille.
- Do not switch ON power until wiring is completed.
Installation
- Select the mounting position.
- Place the template and mark hole positions.
- Cut a large hole and make screw holes.
- Install the unit as shown in the figures.
System Connections: Speaker cords are not supplied. Obtain cords of required length and terminate with female spade connectors.
Note: When using as a 3-way speaker with a subwoofer, connect nonpolar capacitors in series (HPF).
