Your Kenwood Turbo Quartz mini oven with Quartz tube technology and convection function allows odour-free, smoke-free cooking of various foods like fish, meat, poultry, and pastries. It can defrost, roast, grill, bake, and spit roast. The oven accommodates pie dishes up to 30cm, rectangular dishes up to 40x30cm, and a 2kg chicken. An interior light allows monitoring during cooking.

Safety Precautions:

  • Read all instructions.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces; use handles and knobs.
  • Do not immerse the oven, cord, or plug in water.
  • Do not use if damaged; seek service.
  • Keep the cord away from table edges and hot surfaces.
  • Not for unsupervised use by children or infirm persons.
  • Keep away from curtains and combustible materials.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation; do not block air vents.
  • Do not use outdoors or leave unattended when on.
  • Switch off and unplug after use.
  • Be careful during grilling to avoid contact with quartz tubes.
  • Use only for intended domestic purposes.

Before First Use:

  1. Remove all packaging and labels.
  2. Wash shelves, drip tray, and spit roast in warm soapy water; dry thoroughly.
  3. Adjust cooking times/temperatures as this oven differs from traditional ones.
  4. Keep foil coverings away from elements and quartz tubes.
  5. Place messy foods on a baking tray to prevent splattering.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Trouble Solution
The oven does not work? Check that it is plugged in.
Is the timer on?
Is the programmable timer set instead of the cooking timer?
Is the temperature control set to 0?
Is the setting control set to 0?
If none of the above, check the fuse/circuit breaker for your installation.
The oven gives off too much smoke? Cooking temperature set too high.
Oven door closed when using the Quartz grill or spit roast setting.
If smoking during grilling try adding a small amount of water to the drip tray.
The Oven gets dirty too quickly? After cooking greasy/fatty foods - clean the oven by setting it to maximum temperature for 15minutes on setting 2 (Ventilated pastry) with the door open.
