Switching on your unit

  1. Connect the mains cable to the socket. The internal temperature is controlled by a thermostat. Position 7 is coldest, position 0 is off.
  2. Adjust the dial to the desired position. Higher numbers mean lower temperatures. Positions 2-4 are recommended for normal room temperatures (16°C-38°C).
  3. The unit may not operate correctly in extreme temperatures or with frequent door openings.
  4. Wait 24 hours before adding food to ensure sufficient cooling.
  5. If concerned about cooling, use a fridge/freezer thermometer. Place it inside overnight; the correct temperature should be 5°C or lower.

Adjusting the temperature

The thermostat controls the internal temperature. Position 7 is the coldest. Position 2 is recommended, but adjust based on the environment.

Tips for keeping food

  • Store cooked meats/fish above raw meats/fish. Use containers for raw items.
  • Allow air circulation by leaving space around food.
  • Pack or cover food separately to prevent flavour transfer.
  • Let pre-cooked food cool before storing.
  • Limit door openings to maintain temperature.
